Where did we get our waste?

For our project, we collected brewery waste from both Cooper Union's brewery club and Wild East Brewing.

We created a list of 20 NYC breweries to contact through email and phone.

Due to time constraints, we only contacted 6 breweries.

Which Breweries Did We Contact

Responses

Wild East Brewing is a local NYC Brewery located at 623 Sackett St, Brooklyn, NY 11217.

Out of these 6 breweries, we worked with Wild East Brewing.

They provided us with wastewater and spent grains. They also expressed interest in our project, explaining that they were particularly interested in spent grain recycling:

"We’ve been trying to find a farmer interested in using the grain as feed, but it’s hard to get them to come to the city."
